Dreams, Part I

 “Last night, I had the strangest dream!”

How many times have you heard someone say this? People have always been fascinated with the nocturnal “movies” that play in their head while they’re sleeping. Some believe that dreams can predict the future, while others say that dreams depict real life events and your feelings about day-to-day life. Still others believe that dreams are a manifestation of what we strive to be and what our subconscious has the need to reveal to us.

Interpreting dreams has evolved over the years to what many consider an art form. In the average lifetime, we spend one-third of our time sleeping and six years are spent dreaming.

Every night, we dream an average of one to two hours and usually have 4-7 dreams per night.
